Meet one-on-one in a local library by appointment with an expert who helps individuals (or couples) understand transitioning onto Medicare coverage and the landscape of coverage choices at age 65 or at other key life points.
Lakes and Pines’ MNSure trained and certified navigators are in each county on a regular basis to provide free face to face application and enrollment assistance into health coverage through the MNSure marketplace.

The Senior LinkAge Line® is a free service in Minnesota that connects older Minnesotans and their families with the help they need. Assistance is provided over the phone or in person on a regular basis.

Veterans Services are provided through Chisago County Health and Human Services on the main floor of the Government Center. We provide guidance and assistance to veterans, their spouse / survivors and dependents. We are here to help you apply for veterans benefits as provided by the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs and the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
In addition, we provide transportation to the VA Health Care System – Minneapolis and the VA Health Care System – St. Cloud to those in need of this service. We also provide referrals to a variety of other public and private programs and work closely with veterans organizations concerning programs and changes.
Provides Minnesota Veterans and their family members with up-to-date information on all veterns benefits, both state and federal, regarding eduction, employment, health and disability, burials assistance, etc.
